These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Uyen, operated by ONLYHUMN LLC (“we”, “us”). By using Uyen you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Uyen helps you practice a language through conversation and related learning tools. Features may change. Practice uses conversation minutes on your Uyen account.

Minute balances, session length, which past practices you can resume, and hosted voice may be limited by your plan, pack history, region, or build.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep your credentials secure.

Sign-in may use Google or Apple. You must comply with those providers’ terms as well as ours.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Do not misuse Uyen. Do not attempt to break security, disrupt the service, scrape in abusive ways, reverse engineer beyond what law allows, or use Uyen to harm others.

Do not use Uyen to generate or share unlawful, abusive, or infringing content. Conversation practice is for learning; you remain responsible for what you say and send.

Conversation minutes may come from a welcome grant, a one-time pack, or a monthly Student or Professional subscription. Packs and subscriptions are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Their terms, billing, and refund rules apply to the charge.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel in the store that billed you. Canceling stops the next renewal; the period you paid for stays active until it ends, and its minutes stay on your account. We do not issue store refunds ourselves.

If a store refunds or reverses a charge, the minutes from that charge are removed from your account. If you already used some of them, your balance shows the shortfall and conversation practice pauses until new minutes cover it.

To help the store decide a refund request, we may share with Apple or Google how much of the purchased time you used, how long you have had an account, and your purchase and refund history with us. By using Uyen you agree to this.

The price is shown in the store before you buy. A later price change does not change a period you already paid for.

Uyen relies on third parties such as Google (including Gemini for practice audio and text, and Google Workspace for our support inbox), Apple, and Cloudflare (including email delivery). Their outages, policies, and pricing can affect your experience. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Uyen, its branding, and its software are owned by ONLYHUMN LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Third-party components included in the app are offered under their own licenses, including notices shown in the app. Uyen itself is proprietary software and is not offered under an open-source license.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is part of how we operate Uyen together with these Terms.

Uyen is provided “as is” and “as available.” Language practice output can be wrong or incomplete. Uyen is not a substitute for professional instruction, translation, or advice.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ONLYHUMN LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Uyen.

Our total liability for claims relating to Uyen is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Uyen in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars, except where law forbids that limit.

You may stop using Uyen at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, create risk, or if we discontinue the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date on this page when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
