Credits and plans

Practice uses credits. You see your balance on More and in the Practice header.

How credits work

• One credit pays for a small amount of AI provider cost. Talk and helpers spend credits by usage, not by a clock.
• Fast back-and-forth uses credits faster than slow talk.
• New accounts can claim 150 welcome credits one time.
• You need at least 15 credits to start a call.
• Translations, word help, and other helpers also spend credits from the same balance (or from the open call hold).
• Strict corrections use more credits than Lenient, because Uyen checks grammar and better words on each turn. See Choose how Uyen corrects you.

The shop, Account, and this site show about N min of talk. That estimate uses 13.5 credits per minute (a long call). Most practices use about 7.5 credits per minute, so you often get more time.

Free credits each day

If you do not have a plan, you can get 100 free credits each UTC day. In More, claim today's free credits while they last.

• All users share one daily pool. When it is empty, nobody can claim more until the next UTC day. Open Uyen early to claim yours.
• More shows when you can try again.
• Uyen spends free credits before paid credits.
• Unused free credits end at UTC midnight. A call that uses free credits stops then if credits run out first.

Add credits

Under Add credits, select a pack. The store shows the price before you pay.

Plans

Both plans let you continue practices that are older than 24 hours. Select Subscribe Student or Subscribe Professional. The price shows in the app.

Restore or redeem

• Restore purchases: get your plan back on a new phone.
• Redeem code: enter a code, then select Apply.

Refunds

A refund is possible within 24 hours of a charge. A refund removes the credits from that charge. On iPhone, select Request refund when it shows.
